Building Beyond the Title
For over 15 years, I navigated the sweltering, fast-paced demands of industrial operations, institutional budgets, and facilities leadership. I spent a career building high-stakes systems and structural fortresses, but I eventually learned that true success means very little if your inner life is in disarray. Real alignment requires us to look past the mahogany tables and professional titles to honestly examine the blueprint of our hearts.
The path to writing my memoir, Being Gay, Black, and Christian, taught me that finding a lasting sanctuary requires honoring our roots, facing unvarnished truths, and refusing to hide in the crawlspace of our own lives. Now, I use those hard-won lessons to help ambitious individuals quiet the outside noise, dismantle the pressure to perform, and confidently design their next chapter.
The process of putting my story on paper forced me to realize that a lasting sanctuary isn't found by running a continuous audit on your value. It comes from embracing your truth exactly where you stand. I use the deep lessons from that journey to partner with individuals who are ready to lay down the world's expectations, step out of the shadows, and design a next chapter built on true alignment.
